1. Origin's new VitaZing moisturizer. I don't wear foundation most days, so I'm always looking for something that gives me coverage but lets me maintain a natural, clean glow. This is it! With a slight tint, light moisturizer and a solid SPF, it's perfect for all-day wear.
2. The Limited's Drew Essential Shorts. Want proof that I'm now a fuddy-duddy ol' adult? Here it is: my love for these shorts is due, in part, to the 5" inseam! There, I said it. BUT the other reason I love these shorts is because despite their extra fabric, I don't actually look like an old woman in them … I just don't look like I'm trying to be a teenager either.
3. Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad. I am beyond delighted on a daily basis to type emails, client notes, blog posts and the like on this sturdy piece of awesomeness. The one hangup I initially had when experimenting with the iPad was the inability to type at full efficiency. This keyboard is full-size and feels great under your fingers … and it doubles as a cover for my precious iPad, as well.
4. TherapyNotes. Take an inventory of counseling/therapy web sites and tools and you'll quickly note that the helping professions haven't made great strides in the realm of technology. Of course, I find this annoying. However, there is a diamond in the rough — cloud-based software TherapyNotes streamlines the red tape of client care (filing, billing, scheduling, etc.) and takes it online with a user-friendly interface and ease of access. I love using it.
5. Tiki torches and oil. We Florida-native/outdoorsy types know that "Florida summer" is synonymous with "mosquito swarm," so we're totally cool with breathing citronella and lemongrass at our evening cookouts and lake float/boat fests. The Mr. and I have lit our backyard tiki torches about twice a week for the past two months and we remain bug bite free …
